If you call 1-1-2, you may in the future be asked to film and send a live video to the emergency centre. The Capital Region of Denmark has tested the use of video and the experience is so good that it now becomes permanent.
During the test, the emergency centre in the Capital Region of Denmark has handled about 700 video calls.
In ten per cent of cases, the patient was more acutely and critically ill than initially thought, and in about 30 per cent of cases, the patient was less critically ill.
– I think it’s brilliant. If I had been alone in this situation … Being told you can’t do anything wrong is really good, says Finn Rasmussen a citicen who have used the system.
